Site will be updated again!
Ok, I am done with work now, and back to school. What does that mean for you? Lots! I will begin to code again for the site, and will put it up on sourceforge soon. I will also get a release going real soon. I think it is pretty stable, and would like your comments if you see otherwise Comments please. So please look for updates. I want a standerdized homepage soon, reporting all the new things at the bottom, with an updatable top part. It should look good. After this gets done, I have a directory reader coming up, and an image gallery that is almost there. Then I will be moving all the admin stuff into each class, rather than the 4000 lined monster.

I also just updated the online source with dOxygen. Check it out.

UPDATE: Installer is ready, I'm preparing the distro. Should be ready soon! EOF

Updates...
Dear users, viewers, and others,
I have been extremely busy, and therefore have not updated that much code. For this reason, the distribution will be pushed back a while. However, the good news is that (no I didn't save money on my car insurance) I have started to actually put together a formal website. The about page is nearly complete, and I soon be moving all entries over on this page to the news page where they belong. Also, I will be making a nice homepage to greet you all. The projects page will be updated also to include sub projects when they start. Anyway, that is the quick status update of ProtonCMS. EOF

PROTONCMS 1.9, well, really 2...
Hey everyone, I hope the people who have visited this site continue as I just have released ProtonCMS1.9/2. It's the biggest revision for the site. As you can see, the site visual appearance cleaned up. All the old content was ported over from the old version, and will continue to run. I am going to get a demo up tomorrow sometime, but I have work at 8:00AM. It's good to be a co-op (or the king). I will be publishing the source very soon after finishing up this blog/update. I will write a formal update up the news page of what was done to the site. Here is a quick list:
  • Calendar
  • User Profiles
  • User Settings (I actually have users for my fraternity site, easy port over!)
  • Directory viewer (so you can just setup a dir structure and have people browse it (in the works)
  • Better menu system that allows for direct linkage of pages, or OTHER category for URL's and/or dir paths
  • Webpage restriction levels, for only allowing admins, or mods, or users, or anyone to view the page.
  • Added "edit" next to permanent (in addition to spelling it right) link, for quick editing
  • Added UDF (user defined) field in every table to be able to customize and mod easier
  • And there is more...

Anyway, everything works like a charm except for one bug when I moved some new things over from the old site.
I stopped updating this site for a while because of my classes last semester, however I was updating my fraternity's website with my programming, and hence why the big jump in color, graphics, and other stuff. Well, read up on the news page tomorrow for the full specs. More will be coming almost daily. Thanks for supporting me, and if you have any questions about the code, just ask. It's a one man job, but everyone can benefit. Good night. EOF.

P.S Yes, I still do the EOF.

NEW FRAMEWORK!
Well, as of right now, I am converting the entire site over to my new framework... By hand. All the table structures have changed, and the site looks much nicer. I never developed the news bar, but I might port it over to the new framework soon. I have added many things such as
  • Webpage minimum user level - only allows all, users, mods, or admins.
  • Calendar - title says all.
  • Menu - new menu system for linking to pages on site.
  • Webpages - new webpage creation system. Much easier, and uses full html
  • New colored themes on the way.
  • More user params and better user control
  • I need to fix up the next/prev 5 links still. So as of now, those might not work, fix on its way this week.
  • COMING SOON - Directory listings. I am working on a dir/file parser. More things to come soon.

Site should be fully moved over by 12:00 Midnight Jan. 12. 2005. EOF

Framework in use
To prove that I really do have the new framework out, visit AEPi Zeta, my frat website. It is solely using that framework. This site will be ported over this winter break. EOF
